Hydrocarbon Dew Point Analyzers
Hydrocarbon dew point analyzers determine the temperature at which heavier hydrocarbons begin to condense out of a natural gas stream. Knowing that point matters because liquid dropout damages compressors, fouls burners and puts a shipper outside the specification of the pipeline contract. Chilled mirror instruments measure it directly; calculation-based systems derive it from a gas chromatograph analysis.
