Total Nitrogen Analyzers
Total nitrogen analyzers report all nitrogen present in a sample, organic and inorganic together, rather than a single species such as ammonia or nitrate. Discharge permits and nutrient removal targets are written in terms of total nitrogen, which is why the measurement is standard on wastewater treatment plants and on industrial effluent.
