Agitators
Agitators keep liquids, slurries and suspensions in motion inside tanks, vessels and reactors. A rotating impeller driven by a motor and gearbox creates the flow pattern that blends, dissolves, suspends solids or transfers heat. Agitators are selected on tank geometry, viscosity, required shear and mounting position, whether top-entry, side-entry or bottom-entry.
