Gear Pumps
Gear pumps carry liquid around the outside of two meshing gears and force it out as the teeth come back together, giving a smooth, precisely metered flow that rises in step with shaft speed. External gear designs handle clean oils and chemicals at high pressure; internal gear designs cope with the viscous and shear-sensitive products found in lubrication, polymer, paint and food processing.
