Piping Systems
A piping system is more than the pipe itself: it is the pipe, fittings, flanges, gaskets, supports, expansion joints and insulation working together to carry a medium safely from one piece of equipment to the next. Material, wall thickness, routing and support spacing follow from the pressure, temperature, chemistry and movement of the service, and from codes such as ASME B31.3 or EN 13480.
