Progressive cavity pumps move fluid through a series of sealed cavities formed between a helical rotor and a stator, delivering a smooth, almost pulsation-free flow that is proportional to the speed of the shaft. Because the flow is gentle and the pump handles high viscosity, abrasive slurries and shear-sensitive products, they are widely used in wastewater, food, chemical and oil and gas applications.
