Flame Detectors
Flame detectors watch for the optical signature of a fire and raise an alarm within seconds, long before heat or smoke would reach a conventional detector. Infrared, ultraviolet and combined UV/IR devices are chosen for the fuel involved and for immunity to false alarms from sunlight, welding or hot surfaces.
