Needle Valves
Needle Valves are a type of valve having a small port and a threaded, needle-shaped plunger. It allows precise regulation of flow, although it is generally only capable of relatively low flow rates. Needle valves are similar to globe valves. Theyāre used to start, stop, and regulate the flow rate within a pipeline. However, needle valves are designed differently. Unlike globe valves, which have a disc, needle valves have a long, tapered, needle-like point at the end of the valve stem. This is often referred to as the plunger.
