Ecomondo is the key event for green and circular economy. It’s the meeting place where industrial groups, stakeholders, policy makers, opinion leaders, local authorities, research bodies and institutions come together and put in place the key elements that define the strategies for the development of EU environmental policy.

Ecomondo, the ecological transition ecosystem, is the place for industry, stakeholders, policy makers, opinion leaders and local authorities to meet and talk. It brings together and systemizes the key elements that define the development strategies of the European Union’s environmental policy.

It is the reference international event in Europe and the Mediterranean basin for technologies, services, and industrial solutions in the green and circular economy sectors.

A hub for research and innovation, it hosts the leading companies in environmental services, solutions and technologies, covering water management, waste disposal, textiles, bioenergy, soil management and protection, transport, agriculture and sustainable cities.

There are six themed macro areas, covering the valorisation of waste into resources, the regeneration of soil and agro-forestry and food ecosystems, energy obtained from biomass and the use of waste as a secondary raw material. And more besides: the entire integrated water cycle and environmental monitoring, the protection of seas and water environments but also the earth observation and the satellite monitoring systems.
