These pumps are ideal for applications where large solid or stringy material passage is required and non-clogging and pump uptime are essential. The flow path is top inlet with bottom discharge to allow free flow of solids and slurries through the pump and keeps solids from settling inside the pump.
Iwaki AIR Flap Valve pumps require very little maintenance and if service is required, access to the four Heavy-Duty abrasion-, damage- and impact-resistant flap valves are unobstructed and the components are easily accessible without removing the pump from service. Other design features include solid steel, HNBR Rubber encapsulated flap valve which allow for up to 2” in solids passage, all-bolted construction for improved maintenance and leak free performance, and an externally accessible air motor.
TC-X500 Series Iwaki AIR AODD pumps also provide excellent performance with flows up to 152 GPM (600 LPM) and up to 100 PSI (7 bar) to ensure high performance product transfer against high discharge pressures, long discharge lines and viscous and solids laden fluids.
