Elementar UK is based in South Manchester in North West England and is the IRMS Centre of Excellence for the Elementar Group. In this capacity, the team at Elementar UK are responsible for the development, manufacture and support of our stable isotope products and ensuring that Elementar delivers high-performance instrumentation to research scientists across the globe. Elementar UK was formed in 2008 after Elementar Analysensysteme GmbH purchased the stable isotope product line from GV Instruments to enable the development of market leading EA-IRMS solutions for a range of applications. Prior to GV Instruments, the lineage of our products can be traced back to the early 1970’s with the 602 instrument from Vacuum Generators and through other companies such as Micromass and Waters.
Elementar UK also supply and support the elemental analysis (EA), total organic carbon (TOC) and optical emission spectroscopy (OES) products to the UK market and we pride ourselves on working closely with our customers. We have supplied innovative products and services to leading companies such as Nestle, Premier Foods and Pirelli; world-class research institutes and government agencies such as British Geologcical Survey (BGS), Food and Environment Research Agency (FERA) and Environment Agency as well as almost 70% of the Top 30 UK Universities.
Our UK headquarters, Isoprime House is ideally located to Manchester Airport and major road networks making it ideal for our customers to visit our offices, view the instruments in our fully equipped demonstration lab and meet the UK experts in elemental and isotope analysis.
