HYDAC International GmbH, founded in 1963 in Sulzbach/Saar, is a family-owned fluid engineering group with more than 11,000 employees, 52 international subsidiaries and around 500 sales and service partners. Its four business areas are Hydraulics and Filtration, Control Technology, Thermal Management and Drive Technology, spread across some 20 product lines. Filtration is a core competence: HYDAC builds inline, block-mounting, return-line, suction, return-line suction and bypass filters, process filters including automatic back-flushing filters and gas filters, diesel fuel filters, breather filters and dryers, spin-on cartridges, clogging indicators and a broad range of filter elements such as the Betamicron series. It complements these with fluid conditioning systems, water removal, contamination and pressure sensors, fluid care laboratory services and accredited calibration.
