Metrohm is a Swiss manufacturer of high-precision instruments for chemical analysis. Founded in 1943 by Bertold Suhner in Herisau, the company has been owned by the charitable Metrohm Foundation since 1982, which preserves its independence. Metrohm specialises in titration, ion chromatography, Raman and near-infrared spectroscopy, electrochemistry and process analysis, and produces most components in house, from hardware and software to sensors and accessories.
