Selecting the best process pump to fit to your industry’s requirements can be a tedious task but at TS Pumps we’ll do the hard work, so you don’t have to. With a collective of over 60 years’ experience in the pump industry, we know the right pump for the job and have the relationships with the manufacturers to get you the best pricing.

For industries that require the highest sanitary standards, like the Pharmaceutical industry, we recommend EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group) rated pumps. That’s why we work with our manufacturers to ensure our customers are receiving the highest quality and the highest hygiene ratings at the best price. All pumps in the Pomac Pumps range, like the Lobe Pump, are EHEDG rated, as well as the Aseptic Diaphragm Pump from Tapflo. We also have a vast range of sanitary pumps in our catalogue that meet FDA regulations such as our Hygienic Centrifugal Pump and Sanitary Diaphragm Pump.

So, what exactly do these certifications mean? EHEDG and FDA both set out strict guidelines for ensuring that sanitary standards are met for all equipment used to make products for human consumption. The EHEDG guidelines assure machinery is hygienic including their design and continued maintenance. The EHEDG rating is a guarantee that the whole pump is certified and has been tested for use in hygienic environments. FDA acts as the responsible body for protecting public health in America but the hygienic standards are recognised globally.

Our full range of sanitary pumps are manufactured from quality metal and have a high-grade finish to ensure that the pump internals are smooth to prevent bacteria from growing inside, a pump is not sanitary if only the seals are hygienic. Both the seals and the internals must meet sanitary grade requirements to guarantee that the pump is hygienic.

Whether you’re pumping liquid containing solids, pharmaceutical powders or a viscous product, we’ve got something in our sanitary range to suit to your needs and with our reliable servicing, you’ll have no problem maintaining your pump. For continued maintenance, many of our sanitary pumps support ‘Clean in Place’ and ‘Sterilisation in Place’, these processes guarantee efficient cleaning of your pumps and pipework without having to remove it from your installation.
