Offering flow and test solutions to international markets, Sierra Instruments is comprised of two divisions: FLOW, headquartered in Monterey, California and AUTOMOTIVE, headquartered in Malvern, United Kingdom. The Flow Division manufactures capillary and insertion type MFC, Vortex and Ultrasonic flow meters/controllers for gas, liquid, or steam applications. The Automotive Division builds complex, custom, integrated test facilities and world-class engine and vehicle test and automation systems.
“Sierra’s flow product portfolio compliments TASI Flow businesses, offering new technologies including Transit-time ultrasonic and vortex shedding, among others,” explained TASI CEO John McKenna. “This acquisition is strategically important to the continuing growth of TASI Flow and
the TASI Group.”

All companies will keep their independency and identity and will help each other to grow the business. This addition to the TASI Group will strengthen the individual TASI companies due to a wider knowledge base, more engineering resources and a possible sharing of products and components.
Over time, the current Vögtlin distributors will not see any changes in the network, but hopefully will see the added benefit in new products and cooperations.
