6 Feb 2024  |
As of 1 January 2024, Alexander Kraaijkamp joins the management team at Gpi Group, where he takes up the position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). At the same time, Niek Boonekamp has been appointed Managing Director of Gpi De Gouwe, where Alexander Kraaijkamp was previously played an active role.

Fred Boere, co-CEO of Gpi Group, had this to say about Alexander Kraaijkamp’s appointment as CCO: “When it comes to a knowledge of our markets, products, customers, and marketing and sales processes, Alexander has an excellent track record in a number of (sales) management roles at Gpi. With his appointment, we expect a greater focus on the commercial strategy and our sales & marketing organisation.”

Sustainable growth

“After several years being at the helm of Gpi De Gouwe, I will be returning to a more commercially focused role at Gpi, which suits me down to the ground. The Gpi Group comprises a number of operating companies, each with its own specialisation. By working in compact specialised teams, we are able to ensure our clients can quickly engage with expert professionals. There are opportunities aplenty for improving our levels of service at Gpi and I look forward to working together with all our teams to bring about further sustainable growth. Niek Boonekamp’s appointment as Managing Director of Gpi De Gouwe means I am able to hand over the reins with absolute confidence. As Senior Project Manager, Nick has proven he is more than capable of providing leadership in an intensely technological environment,” says Alexander Kraaijkamp.

Managing Director Niek Boonekamp

Niek Boonekamp: “Four years ago I found the ambitious vision held by Gpi De Gouwe compelling. It’s a great honour, several years on, to have been handed a key role in shaping Gpi De Gouwe’s future. In just a short space of time, the organisation has been transformed into a leading supplier of process technology for the food-processing industry. I feel highly motivated in fulfilling our ongoing ambitions as part of this team.”
