You can think for example of micro reactors, catalyst research processes and the dosing of additives in the food and beverage industry. Sometimes, liquid flows are evaporated before they are added, for instance to coating systems or to control the humidity in a process chamber.
As a pioneer in measuring low flow rates, using thermal, Coriolis and ultrasonic measurement principles, Bronkhorst gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in this field. By working closely with suppliers as well as customers, the company learned how to handle these low flow rates and how to control or dose them accurately and repeatable.
Based on their 40 years experience, Bronkhorst created an e-book, focusing on liquid flow rates, particularly up to 100 g/h. It contains information about low liquid flow setups, definitions, and suggestions for flow meter selection. The e-book includes technical advice on system layouts, process conditions, examples of liquid dosing systems based on a (micro) pump or alternatively using a pressure vessel, and a wide variety of inside tips from the experts.
