Vesconite Bearings produces polymer bushings and wear materials that operate in dirty or wet conditions and still last longer than other products on the market.
While Vesconite is the company’s best-known self-lubricating, low-coefficient-of-friction polymer, Vesconite Hilube is important for international customers who want the longest life and best performance possible. Meanwhile, Vesconite Bearings’ latest development, Superlube, is an ultralow-friction material and is available for customers interested in prototype testing, while the company’s Hitemp 150 and Hitemp 230 bushing materials are also designed to operate continuously in dry conditions of up to 150ºC and 230ºC, respectively.
The firm has a global presence with customers in over 100 countries. The key distribution centres are in South Africa, Netherlands, UK, USA, New Zealand, Australia, Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong.
Vesconite Bearings makes rods, machined plates and bushings as standard parts as well as high-quality finished parts for the agriculture, railway, mining, pump, heavy transport, hydro, renewable, earthmoving and marine industries.
With 80 CNC machines, Vesconite Bearings is well positioned for custom machining requirements up to three meters in diameter.
