Packo introduces the MFP3/125-315: a new standard in energy efficiency and user-friendliness

This innovative pump has been developed with maximum efficiency and minimal total cost of ownership (TCO) in mind for the user. Low TCO as a starting point
As with all MFP3 pumps, achieving the lowest possible TCO is central to the MFP3/125-315. This is realized through the use of standardized interchangeable parts and extensive standardization of components across different pump types. As a result, maintenance and repairs are simplified, leading to lower operating costs and higher system availability. Packo demonstrates that innovation and cost control can go hand in hand.
Technical innovation: wide and high energy efficiency
During the development of the MFP3/125-315, Packo consciously went beyond the classic goal of achieving peak efficiency at the BEP (best efficiency point). In practice, many pumps rarely operate exactly at their BEP. They often function under varying process conditions and at different operating points, for example during different phases in the brewing process. Additionally, only a limited number of pumps are supplied with a full impeller diameter.
Therefore, the MFP3/125-315 was designed to achieve a hydraulic efficiency of nearly 80% over an exceptionally wide operating range: from 60% to 120% of the flow at the BEP. This results in stable and efficient energy consumption, regardless of varying process conditions.
Unique features and performance
A major advantage of the MFP3/125-315 is that its high efficiency is maintained even with trimmed impellers. This provides maximum flexibility without compromising efficiency. Specifically, the pump achieves an efficiency of almost 80% at flow rates between 150 and 400 mĀ³/h and a head of 25 to 50 meters, measured with water at 1.450 rpm. In this way, Packo offers a solution that performs across a wide range of applications, without compromise.
