What Makes a Coaxial Valve Different?
The unique design of the coaxial valve provides complete pressure balance, allowing operation from 0 bar without any minimum pressure differential. With only a single moving part, the valve is virtually maintenance-free, offering a service life up to ten times longer than conventional valves. Switching speeds under 30 milliseconds make it one of the fastest valve types available. Additional advantages include:
- Bi-directional flow capability
- Compact construction — no bulky actuators
- Resistance to contaminated, abrasive and aggressive media
- Back-pressure tightness at all times
- No minimum pressure differential required to function
Wide Range of Applications
Coax® valves are used across diverse industries including shipbuilding, offshore, chemical processing, energy, oil & gas, hydrogen applications and aerospace. The product range covers direct and externally controlled coaxial valves, high-pressure valves up to 1,000 bar, control valves, cartridge valves and custom special versions. Available in:
