Key points

Greater flexibility, measurement confidence, and operational efficiency for industrial applications

Dual-Path, Dual-Channel Architecture on a Single Transmitter

Building on the proven AquaTrans AT600 platform, the AT620 introduces an innovative dual-path, dual-channel architecture that allows a single transmitter to monitor either two independent pipelines or two measurement paths on a single pipe. This unique capability provides users with enhanced redundancy, improved diagnostics, and greater insight into flow conditions while reducing overall system complexity and installation costs.

Permanent Clamp-On Design Without Cutting Pipes

One of the key advantages of the AquaTrans AT620 is its permanent clamp-on design. Because the ultrasonic transducers are mounted externally, installations can be completed without cutting pipes, shutting down processes, or interrupting plant operations. This non-intrusive approach eliminates pressure drops, minimizes maintenance requirements, and helps facilities maintain continuous production.

Correlation Transit-Time™ Measurement for Accurate Flow Monitoring

The AT620 leverages Panametrics’ advanced transit-time ultrasonic technology and patented Correlation Transit-Time™ measurement method to provide highly accurate and reliable flow monitoring across a wide range of liquid applications. In a dual-path configuration, measurements from two ultrasonic signal paths are combined to improve accuracy and resilience against flow disturbances such as swirl, asymmetry, and challenging piping conditions. Alternatively, the system can be configured to monitor two entirely separate pipelines, maximizing instrumentation efficiency while reducing hardware requirements.

Suited for Water, Wastewater, Utility Networks and Data Center Cooling

Designed for industries where uptime and process visibility are essential, the AT620 is well suited for:

  • Water and wastewater treatment facilities
  • Industrial process monitoring
  • Utility networks
  • Cooling water systems
  • Data center cooling infrastructure

With support for digital communication protocols and industry-standard outputs, the flowmeter can be seamlessly integrated into existing automation and monitoring systems.

Dual-Channel Capability on a Compact Clamp-On Platform

The launch of the AquaTrans AT620 reinforces Panametrics’ commitment to delivering innovative flow measurement solutions that combine performance, simplicity, and operational value. By bringing dual-channel capability to a compact clamp-on platform, the company is providing customers with a powerful new tool to improve process reliability, reduce installation costs, and gain greater confidence in critical flow measurements.
