Globe Valves
As their name suggests, globe valves are linear motion valves with rounded globular shaped bodies. Globe valves, different from ball valve, are types of valves used for regulating flow in a pipeline, consisting of a movable disk-type element and a stationary ring seat in a generally spherical body. Globe valves are named for their spherical body shape with the two halves of the body being separated by an internal baffle. Globe valves are manufactured in a variety of materials and styles some of which include corrosion resistant, pressure seal and cryogenic globe valves.
